How do I request a Mass Intention?
Simply call or visit our parish office and choose an available date. Offering a Mass Intention is a beautiful way to pray for loved ones, living or deceased.
When is the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) available?
Confessions are usually scheduled before weekend Masses at 5.00-5.45pm Saturday in Stamford, and 3.30-4.00pm Saturday and 9.30am-9.50am Wednesday in Oakham. The sacrament of reconciliation can also be received by appointment during the week. We encourage everyone to experience God’s mercy and forgiveness.
Who can receive Holy Communion, and how do I prepare?
Baptized Catholics in a state of grace are invited to receive the Eucharist. If you’re unsure about preparation, please speak with a priest or attend Confession beforehand.
